This Little Light of Mine

The first time I heard this Moses Hogan arrangement of "This Little Light of Mine", I almost wept. Everyone, well, almost everyone, knows this song. It's a kid's song. But this arrangement captures the beauty and wonder of a life transformed by Jesus Christ. To give credit where it's due, this is the Palm Beach Atlantic University Concert Choir with Nate Adams as soloist. I'm an PBA School of Music alumni and four-year concert choir member, so I'm admittedly biased. But the choir just sang the fire out of this song. From the quietest pianissimos to the swelling, thunderous cresendo near the end, you can feel the intensity, the fire, the passion...the presence of God. This is why I love choral music.
